Bought a model X woth 96K miles on it. The issues ive had -high heat and sunlight make my right side falcon door lazy and "impatent". Hoping to fix that. Both front doors totally fine. Left side falcon door mostly unaffected by heat(i live in charlotte NC and where i park for work its literally in direct sun for 8hrs.) -my "time to charge" is inaccurate as heck for supercharging. I essentially gotta add 20min or 1.25 times longer than what it tells me. -my internet doesnt work in the X. I cant pull up netflix or any webpage. Navigation and everything else works fine though. Hopefully get that fixed soon. If those are "the problems" i have with a 100kmile car. Im pretty stoked. And i drift cars. Ive built multiple so i know what im typically getting into when i buy a 150K+ mile ICE vehicle. But electric for daily driving forever!

As it currently stands the MX30 is not a practical family runabout. It's a nice car, but I'd prefer to sacrifice boot space for more rear leg room.

Bike store is a great idea. I didn’t do any stores as I went for space but a now looking at building in a store for my bikes and detailing equipment. Then, as you said, the garage is uncluttered. Hope you enjoyed LeMans. Fantastic race but god it was busy. 😮.

When it was first announced / released for orders I thought I’d buy the V6 manual over the “four” plus after seeing how much Harry Metcalfe loved his and you’ve just confirmed for me it’ll be the V6 … if I ever find the funds!! 😅

I'm not so sure on thermalite blocks on internal / loadbearing walls, otherwise its looking almost perfect! - a wonky roof (with modern structural elements, again would be my choice - i.e. the nearest inch rather than mm. )

Hi Ped Enjoying watching the progress on the building project. Having renovated four old cottages (3-400 yrs old) I know what problems and costs can be involved. With those projects it was DIY self taught but employed professionals for thatching, electrics & plastering. Our second cottage on completion was inspected by local authority and was placed on Grade 2 listed ! There is plenty of excitement and satisfaction on such projects and U wish you well. I have noted some negative comments, my view is that you are doing this to suit your requirements and that is what matters.😉

I think Jean Redele, the founder of Alpine, will be spinning in his grave over the use of the illustrious Alpine name on this city going milk-float of a car. Needs a bigger engine (preferably ICE), new front end, and a raison d'être for its existence. I'd stick to the far cheaper Renault 5, which is at least an honest cheap city runabout.
